District 3 Net

The District 3 ARES/RACES Regional Emergency Services Net

The net covers Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific and Thurston Counties. This Net meets weekly, on Sunday, on the 145.47 repeater @ 1915 hours Local. The purpose of the net, is to coordinate the activities of Public Service and Emergency communications via ARES/RACES, within this Region. This is a directed net; all stations checking in, will use their full call sign for recognition by Net Control.

In the event a Repeater Failure, the net will move to 3.987 lower sideband. During an actual EMERGENCY, a Regional Operations Net will be established on this frequency to expedite and coordinate Amateur Radio communications and logistics within this Region - and the Washington State Department of Emergency Management. This net will yield the frequency to emergency or priority traffic at any time. Visiting stations are welcome and encouraged to check in at the end of the normal roll call. Stations with traffic for the net, please list your traffic as you check in.

Capitol Peak Repeater Group

The group has a weekly information net at 2000 hours on Sundays, except in the summer month.  They also host a yearly meeting and picnic.  The Capitol Peak Repeater Group is a non-affiliated organization.
